PINE STREET STUDENTS took part in the Fire Prevention Contest sponsored by the Presque Isle Fire Department and Maine Mutual Group Ins. Co. as part of Fire Safety Week in October. MMG purchased the T-shirts for the contest. The Classroom contest winners each received a free smoke detector and a T-shirt. An overall winner was picked from each of the schools and they received a ride to school in a fire truck.
