Forrest Michael Beckwith

BECKWITH, Forrest Michael, PRESQUE ISLE, November 23, 2011. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Homes, Presque Isle.

PRESQUE ISLE – Forrest Michael Beckwith has left us to begin his Divine journey on November 23, 2011, in the amazing and immaculate care of earth-bound angels (the skilled nurses in Mars Hill), he slipped silently away.

Michael will be sadly missed by his mother, Elva Sewell Beckwith. His father, Charlie, met his son with open arms at heaven’s gate. His children; Melanie Perry and Ryan, Greg Beckwith and Brandy will tell their children of their grandfather’s laughter and warm embrace and most generous heart. Michael’s sisters, Cheryl Sewell Pratt and husband, Tony; Brenda Soucy and John; Gwen Miller and Ray and, brother, Timmy and wife, Robin, will remember his strength and perseverance and most devoted love for his family. And, with healing herbs and oils and the word of God, nieces Cara and Jessie ministered to Michael with their gentle souls. Extended family and many dear friends will remember him with a smile and be proud of him. Michael’s soulmate and tenacious friend, Sandy Perry and his brother-in-arms, Shane Pelletier will have a void in their lives and home on the riverbank, where Michael spent much time making peace with the journey to come. Michael’s spirit will live in our hearts – and each time we see an eagle in flight, with every trip to his beloved Squa Pan camp, with each sunset we witness at Bogan Brook, we will know that he is close by and that we are loved.

“How well he fell asleep!

Like some proud river, widening toward the sea; Calmly and grandly, silently and deep, Life joined eternity.”

~ Samuel T. Coleridge
