Preseason tournaments scheduled
MARS HILL — Central Aroostook High School will be hosting a preseason girl’s basketball tournament on Dec. 5-6.
Teams participating include Houlton, Wisdom, Ashland, Madawaska, Washburn and Central Aroostook.
Playing Monday, Dec. 5 will be Wisdom/Ashland at 5 p.m., followed by Madawaska/Washburn at 6:30 p.m. and CAHS hosts Houlton at 8 p.m.
On Tuesday, Dec. 6, Houlton will play Wisdom at 5 p.m., while Ashland/Madawaska meet at 6:30 p.m. and Washburn/CAHS finish the night at 8 p.m.
Also that weekend Washburn District High School will be hosting a boy’s preseason tournament. Along with the host team, Easton, Ashland, Madawaska, Houlton and Central Aroostook will be taking part.
The Washburn tournament begins on Monday, Dec. 5 when Easton/Ashland match up at 5 p.m., followed by Central Aroostook/Houlton at 6 p.m. and Madawaska/Washburn at 8 p.m.
To start the night out on Tuesday, Dec. 6, Ashland/Madawaska will play at 5 p.m., followed by CAHS/Easton at 6:30 p.m. and Houlton /Washburn close out the games at 8 p.m.
