Girl Scout Troop 1134 of Mars Hill has been very busy this fall and for the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting.

The troop is growing by leaps and bounds. They’ve gone on a few field trips that were both fun and educational. The troop has learned about saving money, has brightened the faces of some of their community members and not only saw a live performance but had the chance to meet the actors afterwards.

Upcoming plans include learning more about budgeting and money earning by participating in January in the annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale. If you’re interested in purchasing cookies, contact Cathy Cropley to place an order.
