The CAHS class of 1971
The Central Aroostook High School Class of 1971 recently celebrated their 40th class reunion at the home of Susan (Mahan) and Jeff Vreeland in Presque Isle, with 53 classmates and guests attending.

The group gathered on both Friday evening and Saturday for a time of sharing memories, photographs and yearbooks. Saturday a steak and chicken barbecue was enjoyed by all. Those classmates attending included, pictured in no particular order: Ted Brewer, Rodney and Dawn (Maillett) Mahan, David Tompkins, Debbie (Fletcher) Bell, Mike Dahlgren, Jim Lovely, Steve and Debbie (Terrell) Cheney, Arthur Lunn, David Weeks, Rick Duncan, Cindy (Ryder) Certa, Becky Mahaney, Julie (Mahan) Foster, Donna (Hartley) Lewis, Debbie (Boyd) Wilson, Kristi Parks, Heidi (Smith) Shaw, Sandra (Kinney) Fulton, David McCrum, Kathy (Alexander) Miller, Connie (Hartley) Levesque, Sue (Mahan) Vreeland, Cathy (Mahan) Morrison, Dottie (Keenan) Smith, Denise (Townsend) Duncan, Patricia (Stickney) Richardson and Diana (Howlett) Pottle. Teacher Emmett (Bud) Porter was also in attendance. A card was signed by the class for past teacher Mrs. Priscilla Smith. The next reunion will be in August of 2013 at the All School Reunion.
