CURTIS, Erma Ruth, 84, CARIBOU, October 23, 2011. A graveside Memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 9 a.m. Services are in care of Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, Caribou.

CARIBOU — Erma Ruth Curtis, 84, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011, at a Caribou Nursing Facility with her family by her side. Erma was born in Caribou on June 21, 1927, the daughter of Samuel and Evelyn (Caulkins) Shepard.

Erma is survived by her children, Duane Curtis and his wife, Debra of Mapleton, Colleen Harmon of Caribou, Debbie and her husband, Scott Sawvel of Willow Springs, NC, Connie and her husband, Mike Cuccomo of Ohio; grandchildren, Sherrie Harmon of Ashland, David Harmon of Caribou, Jeffrey Curtis of Mapleton, Clinton Sawvel of N.C., and Timothy Sawvel of FL. In addition, she is survived by her great-grandchildren, Tyler Golden, Airin Harmon, Hannah Harmon and Catherine Harmon.

In addition to her parents, Erma was predeceased by her husband, Harrison Linwood Curtis; and a sister, Marjorie Shepard.

A graveside Memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 9 a.m., the Reverend John Kiehn officiating.
