MMG promotes Grass, Lamont-Kinney

    PRESQUE ISLE – MMG Insurance Company, a regional, property and casualty insurance company (domiciled) in Presque Isle, is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Grass to commercial lines underwriting assistant manager.

    Andy began his career with Maine Mutual in February of 2003 as an underwriter for the company’s Personal Lines Underwriting Department. In March of 2004, he was promoted to personal lines lead underwriter. In January of 2005, he transferred to the company’s Commercial Lines Underwriting Department working as a commercial lines lead underwriter until his promotion to assistant manager.
    He is a graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, holding a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and resource economics and an associate’s degree in business management. Andy is also a graduate of the New England School of Banking and has earned his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
    Andy is a member of the Presque Isle Rotary Club and has served on a number of boards in the Southern Aroostook and Houlton area. He is a past president for the Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce, a past treasurer for the Health Services Foundation and a past board member for the Southern Aroostook Development Corporation.
    Andy and his wife, Leigh, have two children, Carly and Mitchell.
    MMG  is also pleased to announce the promotion of Kelley Lamont-Kinney to customer service supervisor.
    Lamont-Kinney has been employed by MMG since 1994 serving in various positions including data entry operator,

senior data entry operator, and as underwriting assistant, both as a part-time and as a full-time employee. She has most recently been serving in the role of customer service representative in the newly formed Customer Service Department.
    Lamont-Kinney and her husband, PJ, have three children, Noah, Riley, and Sadie.
