In soccer action, the Mutiny scored early and scored often in a 4-2 victory over the Clash. Mutiny’s Zech Morse completed a hat trick in the match while Eleanor St. Peter and Alex Harvath both added goals. Madison Michaud earned two assists. On the other side of the field, the Clash’s Jaren Winger had the team’s two goals — one in each half.

In the next game, Crew and Sting faced off and played to a 2-2 deadlock. Isaac Madore, striker for the Crew, started the game off with a quick goal to put the pressure on the Sting. The Sting’s striker, Rolen Mortland, stung back with the next two goals, both assisted by Savannah Rodriguez. The Sting held the lead for a good portion of the game before Ariana Peterson made a nice lead pass to Cole Paterson, who tied up the contest.

The final game of the day highlighted the talents of Express and Rapids. The Express jumped out to a big lead with Jonah Hudson scoring the first two goals and Riley Kinney providing an assist on one of the tallies. From that point on, however, the Rapids took over and never looked back. First, Thomas Patenaude brought his team within one before teammate Jake Stevens knotted things up minutes later. With less than five minutes to play, Thomas Patenaude took a throw-in from Mason Young in front of the net and finished off the play in the come-from-behind 3-2 victory.

The next day of games featured the third- and fourth-grade squads. First, the Tornados managed a 3-2 win over the Hurricane. The Tornados made two great goals in the game, one from Taylor Hedrich and the other by Alexis Moro. The Hurricane goal came when Rhylee Kinney blasted the ball passed the goalie with a pass from Karla Williams.

The next contest was a tie between the Missiles and Blast. The Missiles’ Caleb Wheaton scored the game’s first goal by converting a penalty kick. Late in the contest, Colby Carlisle of the Blast ran onto a ball delivered from Gage Letourneau to tie the match in a great defensive battle between the two squads.
