RECORD TYING — Art’s Sake, with Kevin Switzer Jr. in the bike, ties the track record during harness racing Sunday at the Northern Maine Fair. The time of 1:55.2 matches the time set by Mr. Nice Guy last year during the fair. Mr. Nice Guy was also in this race, finishing third.
PHOTO FINISH — Harness racing continues this week at the Northern Maine Fair. Post time on Wednesday is 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. The 157th Northern Maine Fair and Music Festival wraps up on Saturday, August 6.
EXTREME HORSEPOWER — Jeff Steeves of Centreville, N.B. gets truck and tractor pulling under way at the Northern Maine Fair Friday night. The event continued Saturday afternoon and evening with 16 classes of pullers.
