AROOSTOOK COUNTY GRAND JURY
The Aroostook County grand jury completed its third session of 2011 on July 8 and handed down 52 indictments against 49 individuals without any “no bills.”
Of particular note, 21 cases directly involve drugs and/or alcohol as the basis of the criminal charge. While not directly involving illicit drugs, substances, and/or or alcohol abuses, many of the remaining cases involve substance abuse or other drug-seeking behavior said District Attorney Todd Collins.
Among those indicted were:
Ricky LaBreck, 50, Van Buren: criminal OUI, operating after suspension and failing to report accident.
Matthew J. Oakes, 23, Fort Fairfield: burglary, theft and violating condition of release.
Katie A. Farris, 30, Ashland: stealing drugs, unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs, theft (two counts) and burglary of a motor vehicle.
Jay W. Blosser, 29, Easton: theft and violating condition of release.
Ryan J. Simpson, 28, Presque isle: aggravated criminal mischief, domestic violence criminal threatening, domestic violence terrorizing, obstructing report of crime/injury, criminal threatening, receiving stolen property, threatening display of weapon, possession of firearm in licensed liquor establishment and violating condition of release.
Jeffrey L. Shaw, 40, Presque Isle: unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs, eluding an officer, OUI, driving to endanger and criminal mischief.
Jessica L. Maynard, 25, Washburn: theft, criminal trespass and violating condition of release.
Ronald M. Beaulieu, 73, Presque Isle: unlawful sexual contact.
Daniel J. Masters, 23, Westfield: robbery, burglary and theft.
Dennis J. Tardie, 23, Mapleton: robbery, burglary and theft.
Jamie P. Burns, 39, Caribou: violating condition of release.
Jean Louis Michaud, 32, Limestone: theft.
Gary Jandreau, 69, St. Francis: unlawful sexual contact.
Arthur Tozier, 32, Baileyville: unlawful sexual contact.
Craig A. Cyr, 22, Madawaska: burglary and theft.
Eddie J. Ringuette, Sr., 60, Madawaska: criminal OUI.
Timothy J. MacFarline, 25, Easton: theft, receiving stolen property and violating condition of release.
Crystal MacFarline, 30, Easton: theft.
Roy E. Cloney, 43, Caribou: domestic violence assault (two counts).
Randy J. Hodsdon, 44, Caribou: aggravated criminal trespass and assault.
Brandon McBreairty, 23, Caribou: aggravated criminal trespass and assault.
Chad M. Morrow, 30, Limestone: aggravated criminal trespass and assault.
Ricky A. Hammond, 43, Fort Fairfield: aggravated criminal trespass and assault.
Dan K. Smith, 53, Limestone: burglary and theft.
Gregory A. Libby, 33, Presque Isle: operating after revocation.
