KeyBank scramble set for August 13
The fifth annual KeyBank Charity Golf Scramble will be held Saturday, August 13 at the Presque Isle Country Club.
The proceeds from this event will benefit several area charitable organizations and projects, including area animal shelters, school projects, Project Graduation, Women, Work and Community, youth hockey and the United Way of Aroostook.
Prizes include cash for he winning teams in both men and women divisions for both gross and net scores. There will also be prizes for closest to the pin on the par 3s and a long drive and putting contest. Griffeth Ford-Lincoln-Mercury-Honda is providing a new car as a hole-in-one prize.
A barbecue lunch will be provided courtesy of Star City IGA.
The shotgun start is at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. There is no minimum handicap for the three person teams. Registration is $120 per team.
