This event was the culmination of a six-week-long project during which students collected research, formed timelines, wrote reports and made a few in-class presentations as their projects progressed. The science fair was an open house-style event that was well-attended by parents and many others who vied the projects and supported the efforts of all the students.

During the evening, students each made an oral presentation to three judges who then scored each project and presentation. A winning student from each grade level was recognized and awarded a plaque by the advising teacher for the project and event, Miss Lisa Castonguay. The grade 5 winner was Grace McCrum, the grade 6 winner was Camryn Flaherty and the grade 7-8 winner was Mackenzie McCrum.
