MERIDEN, CT – Vaughn James Jackson, 44, husband of Tina Maresca Jackson, died Saturday, June 11, 2011, in his sleep.

He was born in Meriden, March 2, 1967, a son of Joseph A. Jackson and the late Mona Lovely Jackson, and was currently employed at Hobson and Motzer Inc., in Durham. Vaughn was a member of the French Club in Meriden and was an avid golfer.

Besides his wife Tina, he is survived by six siblings: Tanya Nolen and her husband, Eddie, Jack Barnes and his wife, Mary Jo, Terry Howe, Aaron J. Jackson V and his wife, Rachael, Lisa Boone and Nicole Mullen; his sisters-in-law: Jennifer and Lisa; his biological father, Ron Mullen; one aunt, Joann Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.

His family received relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Thursday, June 16, from 4 until 8 p.m. A funeral service was held Friday, June 17, at 10 a.m., in The Wallingford  , CT. Funeral Home. Interment was in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3045.
