UMO announces Dean’s List
ORONO — Recently the University of Maine recognized 1,938 students for achieving dean’s list honors for the spring 2011 semester. Of the students who made the dean’s list, 1,669 are from Maine, 200 are from out of state and 69 are from foreign countries.
Local students making the list include: Ashland — Shannon Bowring; Blaine — Ethan Stiles; Castle Hill — Justin Lewin; Eagle Lake — Jamie Parent; Fort Fairfield — Courtney Brooker, Casey Hill and Kelsie York; Mars Hill — Kari Beckom and Alexandria Dame; Perham — Ross Wolland; Presque Isle — Andrew Abovian, Nathan Ackerson, Hallie Bartlett, Christopher Cawley, Alyssa Dean-Littlefield, Kyle Deschaine, Caroline Freeman, Christopher Hamlin, Uriah Hedrich, Whitney Jandreau, Joshua Jones, Lucas Mathers, Samuel Porter, Sarah Porter, Nichola Shaw, Caroline Thibodeau, Meghann Varnum and Warren Zubrick; Washburn — Ryan Smith; and Westfield — Erin Thomas.
