Jacob Bacon delivered the Salutatory Address. He said one unique aspect of his school is that “we have friends from older and younger classes.” He credited the EHS staff for making high school educationally demanding yet fun for the students. He thanked his family for helping to shape him into the person he is today.
Valedictorian Sydney Trask recounted the “countdown” to graduation. She said thirty-eight days out, she couldn’t wait to break out the double doors and begin a new chapter in life. Then when the countdown was 28 days, she began to regret the fact that she would soon be going through the doors of her school for the last time. She thanked the faculty and administration for pushing and challenging her and her classmates to be the best they can be. She also thanked her family for supporting her in the many in-school and extracurricular activities including National Honor Society.
The chorus, under the direction of Pamela Kinsey, presented musical selections.
