Pregnancy Care Center
to celebrate opening of Fort Kent facility
On Thursday, June 16, the Pregnancy Care Center of Aroostook will celebrate the grand opening of a satellite office at 90 East Main Street in Fort Kent.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m., with light refreshments to follow. Townspeople are encouraged to come out and be a part of this history-making moment. This is an opportunity to tour the new center and meet the staff.

THE PREGNANCY CARE CENTER, headquartered in Presque Isle, has announced its expansion in Fort Kent. There will be a table available for those who would like to make a donation to stock our shelves with items needed to give moms when they have their babies. Items needed include: diapers, wipes, lotions, infants clothing 0-24 months and anything you would give at a baby shower.
The Pregnancy Care Center would like to acknowledge the donations and volunteer efforts that made opening the center possible.
Founded in 1985, the Pregnancy Care Center provides practical help and compassionate support, including a variety of educational programs and services to empower women to carry their pregnancy to term.
The Presque Isle Pregnancy Care Center opened in 1985. Eleven years ago, it expanded in opening a satellite office in Houlton and now we are opening a satellite office in Fort Kent.The Pregnancy Care Center of Aroostook is a member of Care Net who oversees 1,300 pregnancy care centers in the United States and Canada.
