National Guard promotes four
AUGUSTA — Major General John W. Libby, The Adjutant General, Maine National Guard, has announced the promotion to the rank specified below for the following Maine Army National Guard soldier: Karl Saucier, Jr., SPC, of Washburn, of the Recruiting & Retention Battalion.
Saucier was promoted in February 2011.
Libby has also announced the promotion to the rank specified for the following Maine Army National Guard soldiers from Presque Isle:
Matthew Harris, to the rank of PV2, with Detachment 1, 488th Military Police Company. Harris was promoted in March.
Michael Muir, SPC, with Detachment 2, Company E, 1/126th Aviation Regiment; and
Peter Lyons, PV2, with the 85th Engineer Support Company.
Both Muir and Lyons were promoted in April 2011
