Exciting events happening this weekend in Ashland

Don’t forget all the exciting things happening around the area this weekend!

• The Ashland VFW Ladies Auxiliary will be holding their annual Tag and Bake Sale Friday and Saturday (May 13-14) from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the VFW in Ashland. There will be lots of fresh baked goods for sale including the local favorites of whoopee pies, molasses donuts, beans, cookies and fudge. Come on out and find a treasure and satisfy your sweet tooth!

• The Aroostook River Voices Concert will be held at the Ashland District School Sunday, May 15 starting at 2 p.m. The chorus is made up of (adult) local residents and high school students who have united to make beautiful music together. They will sing songs from various genres, entertaining to all ages. Admission is by donation and is appreciated.
