Brandon Hallett and Hillary Trainer announce their engagement. Hillary is the daughter of Mary Trainer (of Presque Isle) and the late Michael Trainer; Brandon is the son of Tyler Hallett and Shelly Shaw, both of Mars Hill.

The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate from Presque Isle High School and a 2002 graduate from Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently employed by the Town of Easton as Recreation Director.

Brandon graduated from Central Aroostook High School in 2004 and attended Northern Maine Community College. He works as an agent for North Star Transport.

A May wedding is planned; the couple resides in Easton.
