LOCAL FAVORITE —

Singer/songwriter Rick Charette recently performed at the Ashland District School.

This was Charette’s first time entertaining in the Ashland community.

Performing for the first time in the Ashland area, Charette was met with a great deal of enthusiasm and delivered a lively and fun concert. Children of all ages enjoyed his songs and fun lyrics. Most of the children were singing along and were fully absorbed with the interactive show.

The students were also challenged to wear their most creative “crazy hats” to get in to the entertaining spirit of the show. It was quite enjoyable to see the smiles and pure fun they were having!

Shelby Stolze and Catherine Harmon,

both nine,

danced in the aisle.

Thanks to the efforts of the Ashland Area PTO, Charette put on a show during the school day for the pre-K through 5th grade students and then entertained again that evening for students, their families and interested community members.
