Buzza, Craig claim 2011 Mapleton crowns

The Little Miss Mapleton and Miss Pre-Teen Mapleton 2011 Pageant was held Saturday, April 2, at the Presque Isle High School auditorium at 1 p.m.

Pre-Teen Miss Mapleton contestants performed with the reigning queens in the opening number to “Hollywood” at the pageant held Saturday, April 2.
The eight Little Miss and three Pre-Teen contestants performed an opening number to “Hollywood” before competing in casual wear, talent and gown competitions. They had their interviews earlier in the day.
MADELYN BUZZA
was crowned the new Little Miss Mapleton 2011 during the Little Miss Mapleton pageant held April 2.
She sang “Nothing Is Impossible With God” as her talent.
She is the daughter of Aaron and Jennifer Buzza.
Madelyn Buzza was crowned Little Miss Mapleton 2011. The daughter of Aaron and Jennifer Buzza, Madelyn sang “Nothing Is Impossible With God” and kept her composure in spite of having microphone difficulties.
DELANEY ALWARD
was very graceful as she signed “Caterpillar Dreams” during the talent competition at the Little Miss Mapleton 2011 pageant.
Delaney received the Interview Award and was named first runner-up.
Delaney Alward is the daughter of Chris and Wendy Maple and David Alward.
She was very graceful with the singing of “Caterpillar Dreams” as her talent.
She received the Interview Award and was named first runner-up.
LIBBY KINNEY
did a dance to “All The Single Ladies” as her talent during the Little Miss Mapleton 2011 pageant held April 2.
She was named second runner-up and also received awards for High Ticket Sales and Photogenic.
Libby Kinney danced to “All The Single Ladies” as her talent.
The daughter of Kevin and LeRae Kinney, Libby received the High Ticket Sales Award, the Photogenic Award and was named second runner-up.
ALEXA PERKINS
is very graceful in her evening gown during the Little Miss Mapleton 2011 pageant.
She sang “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas” for her talent.
Alexa Perkins never missed a word as she sang “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas” for her talent.
She is the daughter of Michael and Andrea Perkins.
ALLISON MORTON
was very limber as she did a gymnastics/freestyle dance to
“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” during the Little Miss Mapleton 2011 pageant.
Allison Morton was the first Little Miss contestant. She performed an entertaining gymnastics/freestyle dance to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” as her talent. She is the daughter of Christopher and Suzanne Morton.
ALYSSA ADDINGTON
sang and tap danced to “On The Good Ship Lollipop”
during the Little Miss Mapleton 2011 pageant.
Alyssa Addington is the daughter of Joshua and Kara Addington. She was very good as she sang and tap danced to “On The Good Ship Lollipop” as her talent.
MACKENNA BERUBE
sang “Best Of Both Worlds” during the Little Miss Mapleton 2011 pageant held April 2.

LITTLE MISS MAPLETON 2010

Also entertaining the crowd during the pageant was the reigning Little Miss Mapleton 2010 Elizabeth Collins, who played “The Entertainer” on the piano and the reigning Pre-Teen Miss Mapleton 2010 Marielle Shaw, who played “New World Discovery” on the piano.

The first Pre-Teen contestant was Sarah Craig, daughter of Chris and Heather Craig. Sarah performed beautifully as she sang “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” as her talent.
She received the Interview Award and was crowned the new Pre-Teen Miss Mapleton 2011.
