Benefit to aid cancer patient

ASHLAND — A benefit supper is being planned to benefit a local woman and her family.
The dinner for Brenda and Greg Pinette is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, at the Ashland VFW Hall, located on Route 11. The meal will include spaghetti and all the fixings, with an auction and dance to follow. The event begins at 5 p.m. and will continue until 10 p.m.
Brenda Pinette is currently undergoing chemotherapy for liver cancer while trying to raise her two grandsons whose mother died of cancer in September 2010.
