The following birth was announced by Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
KNIGHT — A son, Beckett Ryan, born to Kelly R. and Ryan D. Knight of Bucksport on Jan. 9, 2011, weighing 9 lbs., 2 ozs. and 21 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Ken and Cheryl White of Bucksport. Paternal grandparents are Ron and Ann Knight of Presque Isle.
