She is survived by her mother, Eunice Dworshak; her children: Ronald Voisine, Pam (Peter) Page, and Holly (Clifton) Brewer; five grandchildren: Chris, Matthew and Angie Voisine, Brian Voisine, and Peter Palmer; one great-grandchild; her sisters: Sharon (Tim) Crohnmiller, Connie Godejohn and Cindy Dworshak; her brothers: Vernon (Linda) Dworshak, Doug (Carol) Dworshak and Ronald Dworshak; many nieces and nephews; and her soulmate, John Umphrey.

Elsie had lived in North Dakota, Hartford, Connecticut and Maine. She liked to dance and was famous for her chili.
