SCOUTS AS PLANETS

Brownie Scouts from Troop 1133, of Mapleton, took part in last year’s Planet Head Day at UMPI.
The Presque Isle event serves as a fundraiser for C.A.N.C.E.R. and also marks the anniversary of the discovery of Pluto. The event will be held this year on Saturday, Feb. 19, at UMPI’s Gentile Hall, starting at 11 a.m.. Participants can either have their head shaved or wear a cap, then have their heads painted to match the celestial body of their choice.
