SMITH, Delta F., – Mapleton – 105, died May 21, 2007 at Leisure Village in Presque Isle. A graveside committal service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
    MAPLETON: Delta F. Smith, 105 passed away May 21, 2007 at Leisure Village in Presque Isle. She was born at Presque Isle on November 29, 1901, the daughter of C. Lewis and Christina (Bird) Griffin. She was Mapleton’s oldest citizen.
    Delta is survived by her son Russell Smith and his wife Alicia of Mapleton, two grandsons, Terry Smith and his wife Paula of Cumberland, Timothy Smith and his wife Donna of Georgetown, four great grandchildren; Lisa, Kristin, Adam, and Hannah. She was predeceased by her husband Lionel E. Smith, two brothers and a sister.
    At her request there will be no calling hours.A graveside committal service will be held 2PM Saturday June 2, 2007 at Southside Cemetery, Mapleton with the Rev.
