Athletes recognized at Easton ceremony

   EASTON, Maine — The Easton Junior/Senior High School held its annual Athletic Awards Night recently. The evening began with everyone in attendance enjoying a brownie-a-la-mode. Varsity Club adviser, Leslie Carlow, welcomed the group and was the emcee for the event.
    Evan Graves presented certificates for junior high girls soccer team coach, Anna Rossignol, to the following players: Sydney Trask, Brooke Hammond, Brooke Lunney, Brittanee Blodget, Ariana Babineau, Sarah Plourde, Samantha Fuller, Carla Halvorson, Marissa Parlin, Mikaela Hathaway, Megan Frank, Abigail Poole, Danielle Dudley, Stephanie Hammond, Amanda Dayringer and manager Brittany Tompkins.
Coach Dennis Anderson presented certificates to the following junior high girls basketball team members: Abigail Poole, Sarah Plourde, Mikaela Hathaway, Carla Halvorson, Samantha Fuller, Sydney Trask, Brooke Lunney, Brooke Hammond, Brittanee Blodget, Marissa Parlin and managers Brittany Tompkins and Jolene Guerrette.
Coach Travis Carter presented certificates to the following junior high boys soccer players: Cody Tompkins, Garrett Gray, Holden Turner, Jonah Bacon, Jacob Bacon, Devyn Gray, Chris Flewelling, Reid Clark, Zachary Clark, Zachary Cilley, Ian Sotomayor, Hunter Turner, Jared Hafford, Carl Mullen and Justin Guerrette.
Coach Randy Bacon presented certificates to the following junior high boys basketball players: Garrett Gray, Reid Clark, Galen Holmes, Cody Tompkins, Devyn Gray, Zachary Clark, Holden Turner, Jacob Bacon, Jonah Bacon, Tyler Gadaire, Carl Mullen, Jared Hafford, Justin Guerrette and managers Samantha Fuller and Brittany Tompkins.
Varsity cheerleading coach, Hillary Trainer, presented bars to the following cheerleaders: Denise Clark, Ana Holmes, Molly White and Megan Bradley. Letters and pins were presented to Missy Holmes, Starla Gadaire, Ariana Myshrall and Kacie Getchell.
Coach Evan Graves presented awards to the varsity girls soccer players. Receiving bars were Briana White, Kassie Lovely, Michelle Osgood, Denise Clark, Molly White, Kristen Boxwell and Katrina Martin. Letters and pins were presented to Jessica Monson, Kacie Getchell, Taylor Burtt and Lisa Dayringer. Kendra Conroy also received a pin. Managers Casey Baston and Amanda Weeder received a certificate.
Graves also presented the girls varsity basketball awards. Receiving bars were Kassie Lovely, Briana White, Kendra Conroy, Kristen Boxwell and Tammy Dayringer. Katrina Martin and Taylor Burtt received letters and pins. A certificate was presented to Jessica Monson and managers Kaitlin Bennet and Kasey Helstrom.
Graves presented certificates to the girls volleyball players as well. Receiving awards were Kassie Lovely, Kendra Conroy, Kristen Boxwell, Laura Hopkins, Taylor Burtt, Michelle Osgood and Molly White.
Coach Brent Mosher presented certificates to the following boys volleyball players: Jeremy Brock, Kyle White, Seth Cleaves, Jacob King, Nicholas Flewelling, Luke Budreau, Corey White, Bradley Trask, Sean Daniels and C.J. Beaton.
Varsity boys soccer team coach, Greg Miller, presented bars to the following players: Jacob King, Nicholas Flewelling, Nathan Sanders, Jeremy Brock, Bradley Trask, Samuel Bacon and Tony Brown. Luke Fuller and Corey White received a letter and pin. Sean Daniels and C.J. Beaton received a pin. Certificates were presented to managers Abby Gray and Megan Bradley.
Travis Carter, coach for the boys varsity basketball team, presented bars to Jeremy Brock, Nathan Sanders, Bradley Trask and Samuel Bacon. Sean Daniels received a letter and pin. Certificates were presented to Tony Brown, C.J. Beaton, Luke Fuller, Corey White, Luke Budreau, Seth Cleaves and managers Casey Baston and Amanda Weeder.
Kassie Lovely, Jeremy Brock and Bradley Trask received special recognition on their selection to the All-Aroostook Basketball Team.
