On Wednesday, Jan. 5, there was an 80th birthday party for John Trask, of Easton, at his home.
Home for the celebration was his daughter, Norma, and her husband, Peter, and their son, Jason, from Florida. They flew from Orlando to Bangor and daughter, Cheryl, and their mom, Nina, drove down and picked them up at the airport. They were happy to be here and enjoyed the snow and sledding.
Also attending the party were John’s sister, Helen King; Kathie Perry, Bob and Karen Hilt; Rickie, Carrie and Jasmine Hull; Ezalee Smith; Kirk, Cheryl, Bradley, Ryan and Austin Thibeau; Bruce, Elaine and Katelyn White; Sheldon, Fern and Maureen Hull; and John’s wife, Nina.
5th Sunday Night Service
The Easton Wesleyan Church will be hosting the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church Bell Choir. This will take place on Sunday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m. There will also be singing from local soloists.Light refreshments afterwards in the dining hall. We would like everyone, who is able, that attends the service to bring some food items to the service. The food items are for the Friends Helping Friends Food Pantry. The items they can use right now are crackers, boxed meals, peanut butter, jelly and cooking supplies. We will have the children collect the food during the service as our offering for the evening.
