Mark & Sherrie Carmichael of Mapleton and Alan & Sharon Thompson of Washburn are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Amy Lynn and Jason Alan.

Amy is a 2005 graduate of Presque Isle High School and a 2010 graduate of Husson University with a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Accounting. She is a Staff Accountant at Felch & Co.

Jason is a 2005 graduate of Washburn District High School. He is employed at Thompson’s Tree Service.

A June 4, 2011, wedding is planned at Presque Isle.
