Group donates to Kiwanis Club
Maine Epsilon Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at the home of Nancy Nichols. Wilma Cambridge presented chocolates to the group and announced that she is to be married.
The opening ritual was recited by all, followed by the reading of the roll call, secretary’s and treasurer’s reports. Communications were read from the international office. Many thank-you cards were read from various organizations that the group has contributed to through the Christmas season.
It was voted to donate to the Kiwanis Club again this year to help out with their Christmas Basket Project.
The next meeting will be held at the Turner Memorial Library. Non-perishable items will be brought for Catholic Charities.
New and good books were given out at the Light Parade this year. Members voted to help the Hope & Justice Project with gifts for families in need. A Christmas basket was to be given to the Sister Mary O’Donnell Shelter.
Happy Dollars were shared by several followed by the closing ritual. Secret Sals were revealed and refreshments were enjoyed by all.
