FLOOD, Alice M., 81, Washburn, in Washburn, December 15, 2010.  Graveside services will be held later in the spring at the Bayview Cemetery in Perry. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

WASHBURN – Alice M. Flood, 81, wife of the late Bernard Flood, passed away at her home, December 15, 2010. She was born May 6, 1929, in Perry, the daughter of Ernest and Cora (Lambert) Pottle.

She was a member of the Dunntown Advent Christian Church and the Downeast Order of Eastern Star. Alice enjoyed raising dogs and birds, and was also an avid reader.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Barry and Byron Flood and Maria Flood; grandchildren, Valerie and Scott Flood, all of Washburn; a brother, James Pottle and his wife, Merlene of Standish; a sister, Catherine Walls of Surry; and several relatives and friends; including Krissy and her three daughters, Karla, Krista and Kayla.

Besides her parents and husband, Alice was predeceased by a daughter, Valerie; a sister, Lilly Harriman; and two brothers, Arnold and Russell Pottle.

Graveside services will be held later in the spring at the Bayview Cemetery in Perry, with Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle. Online condolences may be made at www.duncan-graves.com
