Carbo dinner/auction will benefit youth hockey
Presque Isle Youth Hockey will hold a carbo dinner/auction Thursday, Dec. 9 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Presque Isle.
The public is invited to enjoy a spaghetti feed with this year’s Presque Isle varsity hockey team and wish them luck as they get their season under way the following evening at home against Gardiner.
The cost is $5 for the dinner, with an auction to follow. Some of the items to be auctioned off include a half lift of subflooring from Huber, a signed picture and puck from the Anaheim Ducks’ Correy Perry, Zumba lessons and a three-month fitness membership at County Physical Therapy.
All proceeds from the event will benefit youth hockey.
UMPI softball team hosting spaghetti supper
The Campus Center multi-purpose rooms at the University of Maine at Presque Isle will be the site of a spaghetti supper, on Wednesday, Dec. 8 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for those 18 and under. Proceeds will benefit the Owls’ softball team
