Soccer teams solid in tourney

RUNNERS-UP – Easton made it to the championship in the Northern Maine Community Recreation Association County soccer tournament in Presque Isle Oct. 16. SECOND PLACE – After moving through the single elimination bracket at the Northern Maine Community Recreation Association’s fall soccer championship held in Caribou Oct. 14, the Ashland girls made it to the finals playing a very exciting game against the Caribou girls before succumbing. With their runner up trophies are, in front from left, Ashland players Mackenzie Carter, Hannah Stratton, Cassidy Pelletier and Micayla Driscoll. Middle row, Morgan Doody, Amber Chasse, Brooke Robinson, Brianna Harris, Keisha Lane, Megan Cote and Alexis Craig. Back, coach and recreation director Lendall Tarr.
