Chamber nominates directors

PRESQUE ISLE — Five individuals have been nominated for the Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors.
“The Board has nominated five individuals as representatives of their firm to serve on the Board of Directors,” said Theresa Fowler, executive director, PIACC.
The nominees include: Steve Lunn, Duncan Graves Funeral Home; Sarah Brooks, North Woods Saddle Expeditions; Chad Bartley, CPA; Debbie Nelson, Rosella’s Pizza; and Bonnie Pack, WEGP Radio.
“Additional candidates, who must be a member in good standing, may be nominated by the membership at large by petition bearing the genuine signatures of at least five Chamber members in good standing. Such petition shall be filed with the Chamber office no later than Friday, Nov. 12,” said Fowler.
Fowler said if no petitions are received by Nov. 12, the Board of Directors will declare the above nominees elected. If one or more petitions are filed, she said ballots will be mailed for a general election.
