Vote for my dad, please

To the editor:
Michael Willette, the current representative for District 5, Presque Isle, is running for re-election. Mike is a hard working individual who puts his whole heart into anything he does. Over the past two years Mike has worked very hard downstate in Augusta in the House of Representatives.

I’m extremely honored to call this man my father and I am so proud of everything he has accomplished over the years. While he is downstate during the week he is greatly missed in the household but when he gets home we cherish every moment together. My dad just recently passed a bill having to do with giving soldiers deployed outside of the United States the ability to cast a ballot during the elections. He is very good at balancing his real estate career and making sure his constituents’ opinions are voiced. He is strong willed and an amazing father of Alex Willette, Maddison Willette, Sophia Willette (me), and his bulldog puppy Pearl.
Considering all of the phone calls we get at home he is a very busy and needed man around the community. When we get mail at the house it’s always addressed to the “Honorable Mike Willette” and I just think that’s pretty cool, dad on the other hand still feels a little funny that he has that title before his name, but I know deep down that he feels that he is truly honored to have such a title.
My mom, Pamela Willette is so proud of my father and supports everything he does. He has been very successful in the life that he has lived so far being a father of three, a well known real estate agent in the town and winning the votes of the people of Presque Isle.
I know he is so grateful for all of the support he has gained over the years and I’m sure he would appreciate it so much more if he could get your support in the upcoming election. He has made a difference in the House of Representatives in the short time he’s been there and he has gained the respect of his colleagues and is known as stand-up guy who puts his district before his party when he makes his decisions.
I know that my dad would absolutely love to keep helping the people of Presque Isle and keep on representing Presque isle in Augusta. So in November, get ready … get set … and vote Willette.
