ImageCORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Ransford “Randy” J. Bell, 34, formerly of Blaine, died unexpectedly at his Texas home, August 31, 2010.
    He was born in Presque Isle, August 18, 1976, the son of Rudy Bell and Judy (Stillman) Kidd. Randy attended schools in Mars Hill, moved to St Albans, West Virginia, where he enjoyed playing in the band and playing football. Randy finished his High School years and graduated from Central Aroostook High School in Mars Hill. He learned jet mechanics while serving in the US Air Force, a trade he continued after leaving the service, working for Boeing Company as a Naval contractor specializing on the T-45 Power Plant. He frequently had to go on naval aircraft carriers to service the T-45 officer Pilot Training Jets.
    Randy is survived by his parents, Rudy Bell of Blaine, and Judy (Stillman) Kidd of Monticello; a brother, Corey of Mars Hill; a sister, Jordan Bell of Portland; and a step-sister, Karen Boyd of Hamden; and nieces and nephew,  Montana and Jackson Langille, and Milana Sevcik.
    Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 6, at the Duncan Funeral Home in Mars Hill with Lawrence Beals officiating. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. Interment with military honors followed at the Tapley Cemetery in Blaine.
