HOULTON, Maine — Bounce houses, clowns, pony rides and a variety of games were plentiful Thursday at the annual Yorks of Houlton “Childrens Fun Day.”
Hundreds of people turned out for what has become a popular end of summer vacation tradition in the Shiretown that featured free hot dogs, drinks, chips, snow cones and cotton candy. Bicycles were also given away to several luck children.
