CA and Washburn boys start strong
By Kevin Sjoberg
Most of the region’s boys soccer teams now have at least one game under their belt as the regular season’s first full week was completed.
The Central Aroostook Panthers have had the busiest early-season slate with four games played through Friday. They have won three games, but suffered their first loss last Tuesday at home to Madawaska. Washburn gave CA a tussle Friday, falling a goal short, but bounced back to defeat previously-unbeaten Wisdom Monday. The Presque Isle Wildcats finally got their season under way last night with a match at Fort Kent.
