Restaurant owner reports theft

PRESQUE ISLE — Police are investigating a burglary at a North Street restaurant that occurred sometime over the weekend.
The Presque Isle Police Department received a call from the owner of Rosella’s Pizzeria reporting the theft. Upon arriving at the business Sunday morning, July 18, she discovered someone had burglarized the restaurant and money had been taken. The police log did not specify how much money was missing.
Sgt. Laurie Kelly, PIPD, responded to the call. Police indicate there was no signs of forced entry. Police are asking anyone with info to call 764-4476.
