Varsity club to offer concert
The Presque Isle High School Varsity Club is pleased to bring back to Presque Isle the Boston-based rock and blues band Ernie and the Automatics. The Automatics will be live in concert on Friday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. in the PIHS Auditorium.
The band returns to Presque Isle in support of its new CD “Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades.”
Members of Ernie and the Automatics have sold over 30 million albums worldwide. The band features guitarist Barry Goudreau and drummer Sib Hashian, both former original members of the multi-platinum selling band “Boston.”
Local group “Common Crossing” will open the show.
Tickets are $15 each and available beginning July 1 at Bradley’s Citgo and C-Store, the Aroostook Centre Mall and Aroostook Music.
