Tractor Trek to benefit hospice care

     BRIDGEWATER — Members of the Northern Maine Antique Tractor Club are taking a 45-mile journey, and inviting the memory of your loved one to come along for the ride. 

    On Sunday, June 13 at 9 a.m. in Bridgewater, club members will start and end their long tractor trek lead the entire way by an antique farm truck adorned with Memory Boards featuring names of deceased loved ones.
    Trek organizers encourage anyone who would like to honor the memory of those passed by memorializing their name on a Memory Board may do so sending a check for $25 to Hospice of Aroostook by Friday, June 4. Mail should be directed to Robin Haynes at Hospice of Aroostook located at 14 Access Highway in Caribou, 04736.
    Pledges can also be made to club members driving the 45 miles to escort the names of those passed throughout The County.
    A coffee break for the drive is planned at the Littleton Museum and a public barbecue is scheduled to take place at York’s in Houlton.
    Driver registration begins at 8:30.
