Spaghetti dinner to fund mission trip
LIMESTONE — The Limestone United Methodist Women will be holding a spaghetti supper on June 5 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the church located at Burleigh Avenue in Limestone to raise funds for a youth group mission trip to Boston in August.
The seven students of the youth group spend the mission trip painting homes, performing landscaping maintenance, and working with Boston youth in summer programs. While the itinerary has not been solidified yet, the mission trip is an opportunity for Aroostook youth to expand their experiences outside of the county, as many of them have never been to Boston.
There will also be a bean supper on Friday, May 28 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to help fund the mission trip.
