LaBier recognized for academic achievement

    The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Sebastian Alton LaBier, from Presque Isle, has been recognized for academic achievement as a United States National Honor Student Award winner. 

    LaBier, who attends Presque Isle High School, will appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s Official Yearbook which is published nationally.
    “Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in America’s history. Certainly, United States Achievement Academy winners should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement,” said Dr. George Stevens, founder of the United States Achievement Academy.
    The USAA National Honor Student Awards provide honor students with many benefits and services and is a great tribute to a student’s dedication, talent and ability.   
    LaBier is the son of Darren and Anna LaBier, of Presque Isle, and grandson of Carol and Jr. Tilley of Washburn, Arvin and Sharon LaBier, Jr. of Coventry, Conn. and Albert and Joanne Landry, Jr. of Coventry, Conn.
