The Class of 2010 graduated from
the University of Maine at Presque Isle
A MOMENT WITH THE SENATOR
There were plenty of candid and staged photo ops as the Class of 2010 graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle May 15. Smiles filled the Wieden Hall Gymnasium, as family and friends joined faculty and staff in congratulating this year’s graduates on their academic achievements, with students grinning as they were presented their degrees by President Don Zillman, with Sen. Susan Collins — this year’s guest speaker — shaking hands with each as they made their way back to their seats. Some students took a few extra moments on stage as loved ones snapped a picture or two of the special occasion, while one class member took the opportunity to get a snapshot using his own camera.
