Scott Mitchell Johnson
talked to students
at Ashland Central School.

“If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be, and what would your dream home look like?”

“I would pick Florida because my Memé lives there.

My dream house would probably be a big, tall mansion house with a really pretty outside yard with a big swimming pool.

I’d probably have an indoor pool, too.
Each room would have its own theme … like a makeup room and a movie theater room.

I’d also have three dogs and each dog would have its own room.”

“I’d live in Ashland, Maine because we have different seasons and mild temperatures.

My house would be a red mansion with a weather vane on it.

There would be a master bedroom and an animal room.

It would be painted like animals, mostly dogs, and I’d have dogs, too.”

“I’d live in Sheridan, Maine which is where I live now because I like how the seasons change and I like all the weather.

My dream home would be three stories high and have lots of rooms … like five … three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

I’d have a big pool in the back and an indoor pool, too.

The house would be red and yellow because that’s sort of what the color of my house is now.

There would be a big pen in the back for animals like pigs and goats.”

“I would live somewhere warm like Florida.

My dream home would be a big, pink house … pink on both the outside and inside.

It would be by a river and be a log cabin.”

“I’d probably live in either Alaska or Hawaii because they’re just kind of cool.

My house would be like a mansion with an indoor pool and maybe a home theater.

It might also have five or six bedrooms and each bedroom would have its own bathroom.

It might have an elevator, too.”

“I’d pick Maine … probably Portland … because it doesn’t have any tornadoes and there’s not a lot of bad weather.

My dream house would be a mansion … three stories.

Everything would be made of gold, and it would have a big window.”
