    The Miss Easton pageants will be held on Saturday night at the Easton Jr./Sr. High School at 7 p.m. You may purchase tickets from any of the contestants or at the door. Tickets are adults $5, seniors and students $3 and children under 3 are free. There will be five different categories and eight young ladies competing. Best of luck to you all.

Birthdays/anniversaries

     On April 14, Matthew Hopkins, Ryan Holmes, Sam Bacon and John Fogarty all have birthdays.
    On April 15, Nola Pendexter, Elizabeth Martin, Helene Pelletier, George Ferris, Randy Trask, Todd Turner, Hayden Dumond and Drew Lamoreau will all be another year older.
    Anne White, Greg Fitzherbert, Rosanna Jordan and Eric Nadeau will all be celebrating their birthdays on April 16.
    On April 17, Geneva Jones, Diane Dudley, Joan Gray and Peggy Arnett all have birthdays. A very special happy birthday wish for a very special sis, Peggy.
    Happy birthday wishes to Gail Dorsey McPherson and Lydia Ferris on April 18.
    On April 19, Kelsey Burlock, Roger Wilcox, Christopher Woodworth, Ian Sotomayer, Stephen J. Fitzherbert, Elwood Pelletier, Gabriel Pendexter and Taylor Silvia will all turn a year older. Also on April 19, Joan and Dan Turner have an anniversary. Happy anniversary to you both.
    On April 20, Rhonda McPherson, Anna Osgood and Cole L. Lamoreau will be celebrating their birthdays. Happy birthday Anna. Love you and miss you guys.

Volleyball superstars

     In last week’s Star-Herald I failed to mention that at the volleyball tournament that Easton won we had three All Stars playing. Holden Turner and Arianna Babineau were chosen for the All Star team. Also Corey White was chosen as MVP. Great job.

 
ATV safety course

     An ATV safety training course is being held May 5 and 6 from 6-9 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall in Easton at 23 Station Rd. All individuals 10-15 years of age are encouraged to attend. Anyone interested, please call Harold Kierstead at 488-6853 or Budd Nicholson at 488-6822. This course is sponsored by the Easton ATV Club.
