Youth rally well attended

MAPLETON NEWS
by Jennifer Buzza

Baptist Park held a youth rally at the State Road Advent Christian Church Friday, March 26. Over 75 kids and 25 adults were in attendance for the event. The evening began with praise and worship led by the Baptist Park Praise and Worship band members: Kristin Ackerson, Nate Ackerson, Isaac Ashby, Nick Bull, Jasmyn Shaw and Dan Jackson. Steve MacDonald, a youth pastor from Bangor Baptist and former Baptist Park camper, gave a great message on “Diving Deep into Jesus.” Then the kids broke up into eight teams for an exciting evening of laser tag fun provided by G Force Laser Tag. The kids had a phenomenal time, as did the adults! For more information on Baptist Park’s summer schedule, please view their Web site at www.baptistpark.net.
