The Mexican Drug War
To the editor:
As you know, Mexico has a huge war on drugs. We know as watching the news, blood is being spilled because of these drugs. Unfortunately, some of these people are Americans that are being killed. We know the President is putting on a good show, that he is trying to do something.
The problem is not with the President of the United States. It is the American people. The American people demand Mexico to bring the drugs here, because they want them. The Americans have the biggest drug problem worldwide. If they didn’t have the biggest demand for it, then the Mexicans would not have to bring it across the border. Marijuana is the multi billion dollar business a year.
You taxpayers, who do not do marijuana or illegal pills or illegal drugs, ought to understand one thing. When these young people get on welfare and don’t want to work, they get a welfare check every month. A portion of that check goes to marijuana or other illegal drugs. Now this welfare check comes from you taxpayers. You would think, instead of this welfare money going for illegal drugs, it could be spent in better ways!
