    Graham, Florence L., 91, ASHLAND, in HOULTON, March 12, 2010. Spring interment will be in the Ashland Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Stimson Ouellette Funeral Home. 


 

    ASHLAND – Florence L. Graham, 91, died March 12, 2010, at a Houlton nursing facility. She was born in Sheridan, August 18, 1918, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Jane (Dechane) Duprey.
    She was a member of the Union Congregational Church of Ashland and a former president of I.T. Club at the church for many years.
    Florence is survived by two sons, Thomas R. Graham and his wife Dianne of Presque Isle, and Melvin P. Graham and his wife Noreen of Ashland; five grandchildren, Michael Graham and Julie Graham Berry, both of Ashland, LeRae Graham of New York, Debbie Lipeika and Randall Graham, both of Connecticut, seven great-grandchildren:  John and Kyle Lipeika, Morgan  and Taylor Graham, Rylee and Garret Graham, and Graham Berry; two adopted grandchildren, Amy and Adam Whipple of Worcester, MA; one sister, Cleo Bernier of Ashland and one brother, Eugene Picard of Mars Hill; several beloved nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Graham in 1996; six brothers, Gerald Dechane, Leon, Wilfred, and Dana Duprey, Maurice and Abel Picard; three sisters, Beatrice Bailey, Joan Picard and Frances Flint; one grandson, James Graham.
    A funeral service was held at the Union Congregational Church, Sheridan Road, Ashland church on Thursday, March 18, with Pastor Nathan Gardiner officiating. Spring interment will be in the Ashland Municipal Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Union Congregational Church.
