PRESQUE ISLE – James A. Boyles, 62, died March 2, 2010. He was born August 16, 1947 in Presque Isle, the son of Arthur and Lulu (Curtis) Boyles. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Jim was a long time and active member of the Castle Hill Advent Christian Church, where he served as worship leader for many years.
Besides his father of Westfield, he is survived by his wife, Irene (Soucier) Boyles of Presque Isle; four brothers Wallace, Larry and Robert Boyles all of Presque Isle and Bruce Boyles of Castle Hill; a sister, Sandra Haynes of New Dunntown; step-children, Carol Cuff, Lisa Kincade, Paula Turrubiates and Peter West; & several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, at the Castle Hill Advent Christian Church, with Pastor Lucy Lovely officiating. A spring interment, with military honors, will be in the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
